Those lighter blue to slightly darker blue colors indicate ranges from about 0.05" all the way up to about 0.2" in the Sioux Falls area all the way south toward Canton and beyond. Toward the Northwest you can see some estimates in between Howard and Madison close to about 0.63" of rainfall.This is what the radar image looked like at the peak time of rainfall in the Sioux Falls area:
Since this radar image it's calmed down a bit, but a look at www.theweatheronline.com shows a larger patch of showers circulating in from the Northwest.
The good news is that clearing is on the way for the weekend. It really should be too bad after tonight's rain clears away - with just a couple of slight drizzle patch chances toward late Saturday night.Have a great night!
