Deja Vu
Looks like we are going to see the winds again today. Saw winds yesterday top 45 mph in Pierre, Worthington, and Mitchell. Today we could see winds topping 60mph in some areas. Because of that, wind advisories and high wind warnings are in affect until about midnight tonight for the Dakotas, and parts of Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. This is a sequence of images that depict the forecasted wind speeds from 10AM - 7PM on three hour increments. The strongest winds will likely not pick up until this afternoon. Then, according to this model at least, the intense winds will make their way across the state and make it to the Sioux Falls area around 7pm or so. Good luck and don't get blown away!
