Yesterday's Storm Pictures & Storms Tonight?

We had some great viewer pictures sent in yesterday - and here are a couple of them. Thanks to Zach in Pierre and Serenity from Aberdeen for sending these two in.

This first picture is pretty cool, and shows the storms forming around the Pierre area. It ended up being quite stormy all around the region.

Things were a little bit more peaceful surrounding the storms in the Aberdeen area. This was a picture of a rainbow associated with the storms in that region. We can thank Serenity for this one - and I hate to associate her name with this picture, but it does look rather peaceful.

Thanks for these pictures! Make sure you send in your pictures of ANYTHING worth taking a picture of to weather@kdlt.com or a_shaffer@kdlt.com.

As for storms tonight, they look much less organized, but there are still some showers likely out there... If you just watched my 6pm weather we mentioned the storms over Storm Lake this afternoon - but those are toward NW Iowa. For now, at least, that's what we're looking for as far as storm location. Toward tomorrow morning we might see a few more northern isolated showers sprout up.

You can see that little area showing up as gray/aqua in South Dakota... that is for about 7am tomorrow morning, and shows just about 0.01" to around 0.05" of light rain falling. That should be about it.

Have a great night!
