Heavy Rain Next Week

A quick update on the storm for next week. Looks like heavy rain is becoming more and more like a possibility. The Hydrological Prediction Center (HPC) issued this forecast for rainfall totals from now through Wednesday morning.Looks like western South Dakota will get the worst of it as they could see upwards of 2 inches of rain. The southeast is predicted to get the least amount with some areas only picking up 1/2 inch. But we are expecting thunderstorms to develop across areas of the east which can can have very heavy and localized downpours so some isolated flooding is definitely possible early next week.
