Temperatures this weekend you might have noticed were a little chilly for this time of the year. In fact, several cities hit record highs on Saturday. But as you can imagine, they were not for being too hot but they were for being too cold. The temperatures below are the coldest high temperatures ever recorded for June 6th. This really is quite amazing because some of these records were set over 100 years ago.
At this point, it looks like that a couple more cities hit record low maximum temperatures today. But the good news is we are going to be warmer tomorrow and even get a little sunshine in spots. However, the below average weather will likely stick around through much of the week so you may have to hold off on the shorts for another few days.
