Here's round number 3, flash flood warnings in
Corson and Dewey counties since those two cells really aren't moving very much. 2-4 inches of rain fell in under an hour and they still aren't moving too far quickly. Half inch hail has also been a part of these cells, not enough to warrant severe hail, but the heavy rainfall and the potential of 1" hail definitely put this storm in the severe category. Expect a line of storms to start to develop through the overnight hours and push East but they will lack the severity after the sun sets.
We've got round 4 on the way and finally western and central South Dakota are not under the gun anymore, the risk shifts to the SE where more showers and thunderstorms will spark up tomorrow.
The cloud cover hangs around until Tuesday night so if you miss the sun, Wednesday will be your day and enjoy it while you can because showers fire up once again late Wednesday evening and stick around through Friday.
