Troublesome Tuesday

You'll be hearing a bit more from one person on the weather team here at KDLT. The last post was from our new weekend meteorologist Dan Bronis. He comes to us from Arizona, so we'll see how he likes and handles these chilly temperatures and snow! And speaking of snow... we've got a mini whopper on the way for late Monday night through Wednesday morning. We're expecting one of the first bigger storms of the season, and winds are going to be increasing throughout the day which will cause blowing snow to reduce the visibility. Not exactly a wonderful winter recipe.
There are already winter weather advisories (cyan-turquoise color) and winter storm watches (blue) issued for our region from Tuesday morning at 6am through 6am Wednesday morning. And off to our East in Minnesota, those counties in pink are under a blizzard watch for this storm. Here's a look at how much snow to expect when everything is said and done:

Give yourself some extra time tomorrow and Wednesday, set those alarm clocks 10-20 minutes earlier so you aren't rushing through the wintry weather.
