Snow and Cold

As you see by Jesse's post, some of us are going to get quite a bit of snow. But even if you aren't effected by the snow that much, this storm will really hit home for you because it is going to get awfully cold and windy for EVERYONE. Just how cold? Well, take a look at this. This is a current surface chart from 8:00pm of North Dakota, Montana, and southern Canada. The red number you see on there are actual current surface temperatures.

Keep in mind that these aren't even the lows yet cause its only 8!! Temperatures in southern Canada are already 15 to 25 degrees below zero.

The reason I have showed you this is because our winds for the next system will be out of the north which will drag some of this cold air down with it. Keep in mind that the winds will only make it feel colder. Wind chills in some places could be some 30 to 40 degrees below zero Tuesday night into Wednesday. That is cold enough to get frost bite in 10 minutes. So bundle yourselves up because it is going to get miserably cold around here.
