Snow On The Way

First - Presidents' Day is going to be warmer but a bit on the breezy side especially in the SE where you can see more wind barbs. The other thing about this map is the temperatures, the closer to green the colors are denote temperatures closer to 40 degrees... so around the Chamberlain area you can expect those 40s to show up.Second: here's a look at the current snow depth. So many places don't even have snowcover at all, but that's going to change soon.

Third: This is very preliminary, but this is what the HPC is estimating for the chance of snowfall above 4 inches. The blue line represents a 10% chance that the area inside it will receive more than 4 inches of snow from the system we're going to see pass through. The green line represents 40% and the red line represents 70%. So many of the grass ground places will have a nice fresh blanket of snow.More details to come... I'm sure Cody and Aaron will give much more detailed expectations as the models start to agree more.
