JDRF This Past Weekend

Hey guys! Wanted to switch gears for a post again and say thank you to all that came out to the Juvenile Diabetes Research walk this past Saturday at the Sioux Empire Mall. It was a wonderful event with over 2000 walkers that raised over 160,000 dollars. And of course, I was in attendance to receive my reward for collecting the most amount of donations from KDLT. My reward was to get a pie in the face by a kid with diabetes. Adam, who is in the pictures below, was so excited to be able to do this. He was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. He even took a couple of tips from Jesse Ritka and not only shoved the pie in my face but twisted and smeared it in. Thank you Adam and everyone that I talked to for coming out and supporting Juvenile Diabetes and KDLT. Here a couple of snapshots from the pieing.~KDLT Meteorologist Cody Matz

Good going - but we wanted to see Jason get the pie! Maybe next year.
