Election Day Tuesday

Since Cody covered our snow potential pretty well (I would like to point you back to our storm a couple weeks ago for a similar type of situation - only this one will have colder air), I will switch gears and talk about our election day and how much rain and such you should expect as you head out to the polls. Here is a quick still image:

The temperatures tell the full story - but the images do not. Just because you don't see raindrops don't expect a fully dry day. We'll see little patches of light rain/drizzle move through the area as this storm system starts to build in. We are still very concerned, though, about the potential of snow. It's about that time of year - but for most people it'll still be their first bigger storm.

Cody and I will be publishing more posts this week about the snow, so make sure you check in both in the morning and at night for the latest details. This could end up being our first accumulating snow in a lot of places.

Also... don't forget to vote!

P.S. This is a late-night addition, courtesy of our friends at the National Weather Service office in Sioux Falls. They tallied up the warmer temperatures we've seen so far this month (for the first 3 days) and ranked them overall. Check them out:
