Drier Air Moves In

As storms continue to develop this morning, the cold front that looks like will mark an end to our severe weather possibilities (at least in the near term) is making its way through western South Dakota. The main reason this will happen is drier air will be working its way in tonight and tomorrow. Notice that at 7am this morning, dew points still into the 60's and low 70's across the state. But once that cold front begins to work its way east, it takes the moisture with it. So by tomorrow evening, dew points will be drastically lower in the 40's and low 50's which will make it feel much more comfortable outside.
With this cold front and drier weather, it is not going to feel much like July outside so enjoy it while it lasts.
