Warming Kicks In Starting Tuesday... How Warm Will It Get?

So we've had 2 blizzards in the past week. What comes next? The saying goes, "April showers bring May flowers..." but what do April blizzards bring us? Well, hopefully the same!

Here's what we're looking at as far as warming for Tuesday's highs... this is a computer model prediction, but it matches up pretty well with our forecasts for tomorrow. At the least it'll give you a rough idea of warmth to expect:

Assuming that computer model is right we'll be looking at some upper 40s to lower 50s by Tuesday afternoon. That, combined with lower winds and abundant sunshine, should make things feel pretty comfortable.

Another map is shown below. That map is computer model forecasted highs for Saturday. Look at that pocket of lower 60s (shaded in yellow)! Things are looking good. We're not quite sold on the chance of 60s for Sioux Falls - but if we start to see signs of more sunshine Saturday we might be a little more likely to buy into this map below:

Either way, we have some nice warmth in the forecast & you'll want to keep checking in to make sure it holds up.

Have a great night!
