Rainfall Totals From Sat. Storm

As promised... here are the totals from the airports in our area. Winner saw the most, with just over an inch, from the system that you can see is pushing off to the Eastern Seaboard. This was pretty much what we expected from that storm, heavier amounts in the south and lighter amounts in the north ranging between a quarter inch and three quarters of an inch for the majority of our region. Locally heavier amounts pretty much always occur in these types of systems because sometimes a front will stall or the atmosphere in a particular area has more moisture to work with or the topography slows a system down... a whole bunch of factors can make one area see a much heavier amount of rain over the course of that particular system. Just depends who gets "lucky" or unlucky :)
Drier and warmer weather is on the way . . . and I'm sure Cody and Aaron will fill you in on all of the details!
