Rain Should Stay Southwest

Rain and snow showing up in areas west river this morning with Winter Weather Advisories for the Black Hills. We wont be dealing with much of that east river today as we are looking for a push of dry air coming in from the Northeast. Here is a current radar picture.Notice that all of the precipitation is staying west river this morning and mainly in the form of snow. We can expect much of that to change to rain this afternoon and could even reach the Winner/Mission/Pierre areas later this morning. All precipitation will be light so not a huge concern for travel unless you are headed to the black hills.
Expecting the precipitation to stay to our west for the majority of the day and this is shown by the model below. This shows the possibility of precipitation for 3 hours time increments starting at 9am, the 3pm, and then 9pm. According to this model the whole viewing area will be dry except for portions of Nebraska.
