Our Next Storm... And More Viewer Photos To Illustrate

We made it through our last blizzard! It's easy for me to say, though, since we missed out on the heavy snow *once again* in Sioux Falls. While that might make us lucky - it sure makes it harder to forecast snow when you don't get any of it. All complaints aside - we did get some more great pictures from viewers in Mitchell, and we have another storm aiming right at us in SE South Dakota once again...

Here is what it looked like on Main St. in Mitchell:

This is a more residential view of the snow - and look at how deep it was! It ended up being a record for Mitchell with 12.8" of snow.

So... what's next? Well, another storm is brewing toward the Pacific Northwest that will affect us toward Friday night with some scattered drizzle patches, and then Saturday with rain and snow and some fairly strong winds.

This is what the computer models are thinking out of this one - and as with every post of this type remember it is VERY preliminary- so we'll see what happens!

Looks like quite a bit - with more toward the South and the West again.

Have a great night!
