Lots To Talk About! Blizzard On The Way!

Well, as it stands right now, we are watching some pretty big storms develop. As I write this we are seeing some light rain and patchy sleet with some fog. Overnight, though, is when things really start to get going - particularly toward the West!

I'll just cut right to the chase and show you the snowfall totals, and then break things down a little bit more after that.

Notice how Sioux Falls once again is on that near 2 inch mark. That's what we're expecting to come down as we head mainly toward about late morning to midday Tuesday. After that things start to clear up. Here is a more detailed breakdown of the events to come:

The thing we don't put on the timeline: clearing. We are looking for clouds and some light lingering snow to hang around for Tuesday night - the first couple hours of Wednesday. Then? Clearing! We look for a cold day (highs near 10-20 for most of us), but a day with plenty of sunshine. If you have clouds early - expect sun by afternoon to evening.

We'll be updating this blog pretty frequently - so make sure you check back every few hours or so. Also, remember that we have our KDLT Weather Facebook page now - just click here to get there.

Have a great night & drive carefully if you are doing any traveling.
