We've been talking for a while about the cool weather - and it *has* been cool - but now we finally have some good news in the heat department. That is, good news if you aren't a fan of cooler 70s in July, rather than upper 80s and lower 90s.
Look at what the computer models are seeing for potential highs on Thursday:
See that line across eastern South Dakota? That divides the lower 80s from the upper 80s. That means we're looking at middle to upper 80s on Thursday, with a few 90s on the western edge of our viewing area. Considering that our average high temperatures are in the middle to upper 80s, it should feel more "normal" for July on those days (Thursday and possibly Friday).
We do have another cooldown on the way - but we'll save that for another post, and just stick to the warm to hot temperatures we're going to be seeing!
Have a good night!
