Some more information about just how cool this July has been was issued by the National Weather Service yesterday. The chart below shows how far from the average temperature several cities are in South Dakota.
To put these numbers into perspective, a month is considered to be below average if the figure is 1.5 degrees below the average and is considered to be well below average if the figure is 3.0 degrees below the average. Notice that almost all of these numbers are below the mark of 3.0 degrees.But the good news for those of you who like the hot weather is that we are going to see a brief warm up on Thursday as Aaron mentioned yesterday. Here is what one of the models is forecasting for high temperatures come tomorrow.
