Well folks - this storm is starting to take shape a little bit more. We're still pretty skeptical of the snowfall totals at the end of this system just due to some of the trends we've been seeing so far this year. What can you take away from this? Well, make sure you read Cody's post from this morning because some of the estimated snowfall totals are still pretty similar.
Here, though, is how it seems like it will pan out as far as timing. Now, keep in mind that this can change. If you saw our 6pm news you probably noticed how vague I am being. That was not an accident. These types of storms you want to wait until the absolute last possible minute before giving out specifics. It seems like the bulk of the heavy snow will be around I-90 and southward, so we'll be watching closely. Some snow will fall in areas where they still have some heavier snow - like Mitchell. Look at this webcam shot from Mitchell-area:
Definitely doesn't have the look of a place that needs any additional snow - in April, no less!
Hopefully things will keep melting out there before the next storm!
Have a great evening!
