Dealing with the fog early this morning as visibilities in many spots were below a quarter mile at times. Here are some images taken from the SD DOT cams; the first one is along I-90 just East of Mitchell and the second one is from highway 14 just outside of Harrold.
Areas that are dealing with the fog this morning will be much cooler this afternoon then the clear areas because they will experience much less sun. Expect mild conditions across the southeast today but much colder air is working its way in for tomorrow along with 15-30 mph sustained winds that will make it feel at or below zero for most of your Wednesday.
Just by looking at the wind barbs on this map, you notice that much of the region will be experiencing some very windy conditions.
