We're keeping out eye out on a system that looks to be centered much farther to our south - but with the potential for the northern fringe to give us some snow showers in our more southern counties of the viewing area.
Here's where the storm will be closest:
You can click on this image for a larger view. Take a close look just south of South Dakota. Covering up Nebraska from this storm would be a quick gradient up from about 1/10 of an inch of snow to 5 or more inches of snow.
Another computer model is showing this storm system moving farther toward the North - and that is what worries us with these. For now we're just mentioning flurries and a dusting type of chances - but make sure you stay tuned. I, for one, have almost forgotten that we can get snow in February still with our great weather we've been having! Make sure you read Cody's blog post below this for some updates on the warmth - and if you are wondering about severe weather stuff we uploaded video of the Oklahoma City tornado 2 posts ago.
Have a great night!
